Leadership Communities & Executive Coaching

Why Leadership Communities & Executive Coaching is Necessary?

EduLogic’s approach to Leadership support is grounded in research and practical experience. The traditional approach of professional learning for leaders and aspiring leaders is typically through an Academy. These academies meet regularly (i.e. monthly) and often use the same topics in the same order regardless of the needs of the district or the unique Leader/Learners.

Our approach is different.

EduLogic utilizes a Problem of Instructional Practice (POIP) approach so that every leader has the autonomy to determine how to adapt some of the synchronous new learning sessions into actions and follow up aligned to their specific areas of need. Our team supports the development and provides feedback on the POIPs ensuring they are aligned to the individual needs as well as organizational needs and goals from the district Strategic Plan. This process helps support the vertical alignment of goals throughout the district.

Our Executive Coach follows up (in-person and virtually) with the leaders throughout the year to provide feedback, thought-partnership, and support aligned to the POIP in a continuous improvement cycle.

We call this approach a Leadership Community because EduLogic’s facilitator creates opportunities for leaders in schools and districts to also provide feedback and support one another – a community approach that helps perpetuate the Growth Mindset, collegial collaboration, and a sustainable model for peer support.

Problem of Instructional Practice (POIP)

EduLogic employs a Problem of Instructional Practice (POIP) approach, empowering leaders with the autonomy to adapt synchronous learning sessions into actionable steps and follow-ups tailored to their specific areas of need. Our team collaborates with leaders to develop and provide feedback on their POIPs, ensuring alignment with both individual priorities and the broader goals outlined in the district’s Strategic Plan. This process promotes vertical alignment of objectives across the district, fostering coherence and collective progress.
